Shoppers can enter to win groceries for a year at new ALDI store at Trailwinds Village

ALDI has quietly opened its doors at the chain’s newest store at Trailwinds Village on County Road 466A in Wildwood.

It is part of ALDI’s $3.4 billion investment to expand to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022.

Merchandise has been stocked at the new ALDI in Trailwinds Village.

ALDI will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, May 10,  followed by its popular Golden Ticket giveaway offering gift cards to the first 100 customers.

The celebration continues on Friday, May 11, as shoppers can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce. On Saturday, May 12, shoppers will receive a free eco-friendly shopping bag and on Sunday, May 13, shoppers can sample ALDI-exclusive brand foods.

“Wildwood shoppers deserve a better choice when it comes to grocery shopping,” said Matt Thon, Haines City division vice president for ALDI. “ALDI is specially designed to save customers time and money. People will quickly see and experience the many ways we deliver high-quality food at affordable prices. That’s why we do everything we do.”

ALDI at Trailwinds Village is now open.

The Wildwood store’s modern and convenient layout focuses on fresh food, produce, dairy and baked goods. ALDI stores also feature open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally friendly building materials. Store hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
