The Broadway Bound Players are at it again. After staging the successful “Motown Magic” recently in the Savannah Center they bring you another nostalgic look back.
The “Sensational Sixties Show” will came to the Savannah stage at 7 p.m. March 13, 14, and 15.
Carol Greenfield, the director is a “child of the 60’s” graduating as a proud “Bulldog” from a1964 class in South Florida, she said she is confident the show might bring back some great memories.
“The whole class; the jocks, cheerleaders, drama kids, nerds or most likely to succeeds will find something to relate to,” Greenfield said.
The Flashback Rock and Roll Band with Ralph Dinome will be on stage to guide us thru all the exciting music of the times; the Beach, the British Invasion, Motown, Rock & Roll & Pop and the Age of Aquarius. The Swinging Sixties dancers will remind you how much fun we had dancing our feet off.
Classics will include, “Sea Cruise,” “Under the Boardwalk,” “Georgie Girl,” “Just my Imagination,” “Love Potion #9,” “Black is Black,” “Blowin’ in the Wind” and many surprises. “This was the decade of hope and promise and this show will guide you thru those remarkable times in comedy, music and dance,” Greenfield said. “These talented performers are all your Villages friends and neighbors. Be there or be square!”
