Sandra Kay (Hammond) Cosentino

Sandra Kay (Hammond) Cosentino, of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2017.

During her working life, she was a Nursing Home Activity Coordinator. Kay was also a lifetime volunteer, beginning with the Girl Scouts and later with many church ministries. Currently, she was the co-coordinator of the St. Timothy Catholic Church Respite Ministry. She loved to visit the homebound and never went empty handed. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and lunching with friends.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Donald; her loving daughter, Christine (Alan) Karch and her precious granddaughters, Erica and Amanda, who brought much joy to her life. She is further survived by her sister, Delores Mathieu and her children. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Marjorie Hammond, her sister Nancy and brother, Howard Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church in The Villages, FL with burial to follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, FL.
