Samuel ‘Sam’ Dee Berry

Samuel “Sam” Dee Berry, 82, of The Villages, FL, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Sam was born in Malvern, OH to Dinsmore and Buelah Hood Berry and raised in the Ohio area.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from March 1955 to March 1959. Most of his career, he was a financial planner and estate advisor for American Express. Sam was a member of the Tri-County Baptist Church.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Carolyn (Davis); his children Kevin, Marianne (Vern) Williams and Keith (Lisa) all of Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Sam was a dedicated and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Tri-County Baptist Church, 38405 Rolling Acres Road, Lady Lake, FL. Burial with military honors will follow at The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 301 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
