Robert V. DeLillo

Robert V. DeLillo, age 77, of The Villages, FL, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2018 in The Villages Regional Hospital with his loving wife, Nancy Marston-DeLillo at his side. Bob was born in Passaic, New Jersey, to Vincent and Rose (nee Legrotaglie) DeLillo.

He served our nation in the United States Air Force from 1960-64 having earned the Good Conduct Medal in 1963. He went on to work for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 25 years before retiring to Florida. Bob completely embraced The Villages lifestyle. He was a loyal Mets fan, and enjoyed bowling, golf, softball, cowboy movies, and spending time with friends and family.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Nancy, his sister Rosemary Abernathy, his daughter Jennifer Wallace, his granddaughters Emily Piersanti and Samantha Ramirez, and his nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his fan club made up of Nancy’s five sons, their wives, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and dogs.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church in The Villages, FL, with interment immediately following at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military honors.
