Robert Siemer named district commander in Villages for Sumter County Sheriff’s Office

Sgt. Robert Siemer has officially been named the next district commander in The Villages for the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Siemer will succeed Lt. Nehemiah Wolfe who will be retiring at the end of this month.

Within a matter of days, Siemer’s rank will be elevated from sergeant to lieutenant.

Siemer has been standing in for Wolfe at numerous events over the past year.

Sheriff Bill Farmer recently surprised Siemer by making the announcement before a group meeting here in The Villages.
