Robert Klemczak Sr.

Robert L. Klemczak, Sr., 76, of The Villages, FL passed on 10/16. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Helen and Leon Klemczak.

Bob joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he was working in communications. He moved back to Beacon, NY where he met and married his wife, Sandra, and they had a beautiful 54-year marriage. Bob started the Jaycees and organized the first Beacon Day along with being a member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked for IBM and transferred to Boca Raton where he retired in his 40s and was fortunate to travel the world with Sandi.

In 2005 they moved to The Villages where he enjoyed three bridge groups and the NY Giants Club. Bob devoted his life to his family.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Sandra; children Patti Scandariato, Dawn Morris, Robert Klemczak; his sister and her husband Joan and Rich Fiege; grandchildren Haley and Nick Klemczak, Alex and Ryan Wadleigh and Lia Scandariato; great-grandson, Foster Alexander along with his nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church on 11/2 at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Helping Hands, 1104 Main Street, The Villages, FL 32159.
