Robert G. Gross

Robert G. Gross, 78, of The Villages, FL, passed away November 8, 2017 after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Robert was born in Cleveland, OH, graduated from St. Edward HS, met Barbara, married and raised six children together. He proudly served in the 101st Airborne and spent a long and fulfilling career working for General Motors.

He and his wife retired to The Villages spending many wonderful years together golfing and enjoying life.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 58 years, children Michael (Bernadette), Christine (Gene) Murray, Thomas (Debbie), Sharon (Tom) Harmon, Kathleen (Ed) Harmon, 15 grandchildren, brother Richard (Chris), sister Margaret Grady. He was preceded in death by his son, James and the following Raymond, James, Laverne, Norman, Elaine and Marylou.

Services will be held on Monday, November 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Evangelical Catholic Church, 7081 SE Highway 42, Summerfield, FL 34491.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Robert’s memory to IMF (International Myeloma Foundation), attn: Susie Novis, President of Research, 12650 Riverside Dr. #206, North Hollywood, CA 91607.
