If you are looking to check out a prize-winning rooster, rabbit, or goat while also chowing down on a deep fried Twinkie, look no further and make your way down to the Sumter County Fair.
Check out our video from the event:
The fair, held each year at the Sumter County Fairgrounds in Bushnell (7620 State Road 471), has drawn thousands of local residents with its signature deep-fried sweets, ferris wheels, and carnival games.
Each night, live music is performed by a local band, with The Mudds taking the stage on Thursday night.
If you haven’t gotten a chance to make your way down to the fairgrounds, you’ve still got time! Gates open at 5:00 PM on Friday night and will feature a performance from the Todd Brown Band, with a market lamb show to start at 7:00 PM. Gates open on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, so make sure to get out and share your pictures and experiences from the fair!
