Ricky Dean Rakes

Ricky ‘Dean’ Rakes of Leesburg, FL, was born January 24, 1965 in Danville Illinois. Ricky went home to be with the Lord December 2nd 2018.

Preceded by his Father Edgar Rakes Jr., and Sister Kathy Lynn Jenkins. He is survived by his Mother Sandra L. Adams, Sister Samantha G. Watford and David R. Watford, Jessica Rakes, Elizabeth Rakes, and Viola Fauteux and Ryan Fauteux. Brothers Bryan W. Williams and Roberta Williams, Tony A. Adams, Timmy Wagner, Noah Bush, and Robert Bush. Nephews; Bradly Castonguay, Bryce Castonguay, Ben Williams, Bub Billings, Eden Fauteux, Johnnie Rose, Xander Bush, Dalton Smith, and Konner Rakes. Nieces; Brittany Adams, Alexis Adams, Tanya Thomas, Rebecca Baldwin, Flip Billings, Rayney Fauteux, Layla Rose, Kylie Smith, Jordan Rakes, and Dakota Rahm. Ricky also had many other close family and friends that always called him Uncle Rick.

Ricky moved to Leesburg Florida in 1965, he lived in Leesburg most of his life. Ricky worked many years as a roofing contractor and was well known in Lake County for his work. Ricky never met a stranger and loved being with his family and friends, especially during the Holidays and “Gator Football Games”. Ricky enjoyed Trucks, Motorcycles, Boating and Fishing, and always had a dog as his sidekick. Ricky will be dearly missed by his Family and Friends.

A viewing will be held at Page Theus Funeral Home in Leesburg Fl. On Sunday December 9, 2018 from 3 to 5 p.m. Graveside Committal will be held on Monday December 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg.

Maybe the problem is rude drivers in The Villages
