Restaurant suggestions – Make mine Cafe Du Monde

To the Editor:

I am going to jump on this restaurant wish list bandwagon and tell you what I would like to see. Not another greasy fast food joint. It would be awesome to have a Cafe Du Monde on the squares for an evening nightcap.  Even though I live near Spanish Springs, it would be super to have it on the water at Sumter Landing. Hell, lets have one in every square.
For those not familiar, Cafe Du Monde is a famous open-air coffee shop located in the French Quarter of New Orleans famous for it’s delicious New Orleans chicory café au lait and beignets. It’s where you go every night to end a fun day in “Naw’lins”.
