To the Editor:
I suggest that Rosa Parks would never have been known or heard from if she had stayed at home on her couch. Or Mahatma Ghandi just kept quiet about the suffering his people endured.
The players are not disrespecting our flag or the military. They are demonstrating against inequity and injustice. I believe you have heard that before and have rejected it out of hand. So they have to hide in the locker room lest they offend anyone. That’s just not right.
