Raymond Francis Maxwell

Raymond Francis Maxwell, 90, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 while under the care of hospice. He was born in Buffalo, New York on December 19, 1927.

He moved to Florida over 30 years ago. When working, he was a Superintendent of Electric Utilities. Raymond was a Navy veteran and served proudly during WWII. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his son Tracy Maxwell (wife Christie); daughter Mary Maxwell; brother Ronald Maxwell; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son David Maxwell; brothers Roger and Robert Maxwell; sisters Mary and Gloria; parents Francis and Gertrude Maxwell.

Services will be held in New York at a later date.
