A longtime Villages entertainer who performed at Spanish Springs Town Square on Friday night has been jailed in Marion County.
Mark Seymour, 52, who many have seen perform throughout Florida’s Friendliest Hometown over the years, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with domestic battery. He was booked at the Marion County Jail at 4:29 a.m. and initially was being held without bond.

Seymour, who has performed at Villages town squares nine times this year, is billed through The Villages Entertainment website as “The Villages very own British bombshell.”
