Police called to Country Club Hills after couple’s fight spills over from local restaurant

Police officers were called Tuesday to a home in the Village of Country Club Hills after a couple’s fight spilled over from a local restaurant.

The couple began arguing in front of Francesco’s Italian Ristorante in Summerfield. The couple got into the car, with the woman driving, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The verbal altercation got “out of control,” with the woman allegedly striking the man in the face, with her ring striking under his right eyebrow.

She continued to drive until they arrived at her home in the 1800 block of West Schwartz Boulevard.

Police responded to a call from the residence.

The woman said she wanted the man out of her car and had tried to push him out. She said her ring got caught near his eyebrow.

The man, who lives in the Village of De La Vista, was trespassed from the woman’s property.

Because of jurisdiction issues, the couple was told to contact Marion County authorities if they wished to pursue charges.
