Peter Gregory Wykle, age 69, of The Villages, FL, died February 3, 2017 in Tampa, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer.  Pete was a long time successful business owner and resident of Illinois. In 1972, he started PJ Heating and Air Conditioning (now American Comfort) with his brother Jim, which grew into a very successful company.  In 2008, Pete retired and moved to The Villages, Florida, where he continued his love of golf and tennis.  Pete was a loving husband to his wife Linda, exceptional father to Bill (Cheryl) and Jenny (Sam) Tin and proud grandfather to Aili Wykle, Kennedy Wykle, Molly Cherf and Nicholas Tin.  He is also survived his brothers, Jim (Peg), Tom (Barb), sisters, Marybeth (Gerard) Roberts) and Anne Marie along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his son Peter, his parents, James and Eleanor (Braun) Wykle and his sister Patricia Stelzer. Pete was an extraordinary man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.   A Memorial  Mass will be held in his honor in the Chicago area, where his immediate family lives.
