Pedestrian struck in crosswalk near Redsauce at Lake Sumter Landing

Emergency personnel were on the scene after a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle in a crosswalk at about 4 p.m. Friday near Redsauce restaurant at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square.

The pedestrian suffered a head injury and was transported by ambulance to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
