Pauline ‘Poh’ ‘Ma’ Jones

On March 4, 2018, Pauline (“Poh” & “Ma”) Jones, of The Villages, FL, passed peacefully with her family by her side. Born on August 22, 1929 in Pontiac, MI, she had been a Florida resident for 44 years. She lived in Boca Raton, FL before moving to Marathon, FL and marrying Rusty Jones, her husband of 34 years.

She moved to The Villages in 2013 after the death of her husband. She loved bowling with the Bad Bowlers and did well until recently. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, sewing, crocheting, fishing in the Florida Keys, gardening and Budweiser. She was a bookkeeper and a homemaker. Her witty personality will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: Suzette (Rob) Wilkins of The Villages; Mick (Marcie) Welch of Oxford, MI; William (Cindy) Welch of Cresco, PA & Susan (Barry) Leier of St. Pete, FL; her 8 grandchildren: Cody, Nicholas (Tabitha), Brittany (Chris), Adan, Noel (Ashley), Domenic, Ian & Kersey and 3 great-grandchildren: Hazen, Zeplin & Bradley along with her cat, “Punkie”.

A Celebration of her Life is planned for her in the Florida Keys and donations can be made to the Leesburg Humane Society, 41250 Emeralda Island Road, Leesburg, FL 34788
