Paul Solomon, 86, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 while under the care of Hospice. Paul was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Sam and Evelyn Solomon.
He moved to Florida in 1982 and lived in The Villages for 14 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He had a career with IBM for 35 years, and enjoyed many of its benefits.
Paul is survived by his wife Sandy, married for 63 years, and they have 2 daughters who created an extended family to enrich their lives.
One of his greatest accomplishments was the founding of a Reform Temple in Manalapan, New Jersey. He was a member of Temple Shalom here in The Villages.
A memorial will be held at Temple Shalom on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
