Pastor reports theft of items at Summerfield church

Items were reportedly stolen from a church in Summerfield.

The pastor of Community Harvest Baptist Church on SE 36th Avenue reported the theft Tuesday to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Someone forcibly entered a Conex container and an aluminum shed at the church. Items taken included a 10-pound sugar container, trash can liners, bundles of disposable bowls, a bundle of 200 disposable divider plates, two bundles of 250 disposable 9-inch plates and three boxes of tea, according to an incident report from the sheriff’s office.
