Part of Aloha Way will be closed as pumping takes place at Lake Paradise

A portion of Aloha Way between Owen Drive and Teakwood Lane will be closed as pumping takes place at Lake Paradise on the Historic Side of The Villages.

This portion of the roadway will be inaccessible as water is pumped out of Lake Paradise and into the retention area on the Hilltop Golf Course. From the retention pond, the water will be used to irrigate the Hilltop, Orange Blossom Gardens and Silver Lake golf courses.

The water level is high at Lake Paradise.
