Pair’s suspicious behavior caught on surveillance at Wal-Mart at Summerfield

A pair’s suspicious behavior was caught on surveillance on Monday at Wal-Mart in Summerfield.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to the Wal-Mart located on 17961 South U.S. Hwy. 441 in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the store’s loss prevention associate who stated that on Sunday, he observed a white male and a white female acting suspicious in the sporting goods section. The associate reviewed surveillance, which showed the male suspect entering the store with the female and proceeding to the sport goods section where he selected several different sporting goods items and placed them into a shopping cart. The male suspect is then seen exiting the store, passing all points of sale. A very short time later in the surveillance, the suspect returned to the Wal-Mart with a clear plastic bag, containing the stolen sporting goods. He was then seen returning the items at customer service and receiving a gift card worth $110.
