Owner issued written warning after dog seized while running loose on Historic Side

A dog owner was issued a written warning after his dog was seized when it was spotted running loose in the Village of Country Club Hills.

The dog was seized on Sunday afternoon when it was spotted in the 1700 block of Pebble Beach Lane, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The 8-year-old Golden Mix neutered male named Jake was retrieved Monday morning by his owner, who lives on Hilton Head Boulevard. He was able to provide proof that the dog had been vaccinated against rabies. He was issued a written warning for letting his dog run loose.
