To the Editor
I am not writing to comment one way or the other about Villagers’ opinion on the cost of the hardcopy Recreation News. I am writing to point out that a 73 percent opinion either way via an online poll is not indicative of the overall Villages’ population opinion. You received an opinion of those people who are online savvy, who already use electronic means of obtaining news. There are thousands of Villagers who do not use online sources, including the online Villages-News who created this poll, whose opinions (either for or against the printed version of Recreation News) are not included in this poll. It is a good effort to obtain information, but the results must be clearly stated that it speaks for one portion of the population of The Villages.
