An Ocala man was killed when his truck left the roadway Friday afternoon in Weirsdale.
Eric J. Anderson, 39, had been driving a 2003 Ford F-150 at 4:05 p.m. on County Road 42 east of SE 175th Terrace Road when he failed to properly negotiate a curve, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. His truck struck a fence and multiple trees after leaving the roadway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
