Ocala man arrested after computer found loaded with child pornography

Kevin Ismael Gonzalez

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 26-year-old Kevin Ismael Gonzalez  after he was found to be in possession of multiple files of illicit child pornography.

He was also found to have marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Detective Shannon Wiles with MCSO’s Internet Crimes against Children Division received information that Gonzalez possessed files that contained child pornography. A search warrant was obtained and was served on Gonzalez’s place of residence on Monday. During the search, detectives located his computer, which contained numerous lewd child pornography files. Marijuana and drug equipment were also found in Gonzalez’s closet. Due to the nature of how Gonzalez had labeled and packaged the marijuana, drug agents believe his intent was not only to consume his supply, but also to sell it.

Gonzalez was arrested and charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography, possession of marijuana with Intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked on $106,000 bond at the Marion County Jail.
