Ocala man arrested after allegedly threatening woman with knife, demanding money

Horace Lamar Saucier

An Ocala man remained behind bars throughout the Easter weekend after allegedly threatening a woman with a knife and demanding money.

Horace Lamar Saucier, 33, went to the woman’s apartment in Leesburg this past Thursday. He demanded money and claimed she had ruined his drug deals, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.  She persuaded him to take her to a Wells Fargo Bank and acted as if she intended to withdraw money for him. Once inside the bank, she asked bank employees to summon law enforcement. He was in a vehicle in the bank’s parking lot when he was taken into custody.

Nine grams of heroin, .9 grams of powder cocaine, 17.9 grams of marijuana, 2.3 grams of methamphetamine, a syringe and a black digital scale were found in his vehicle.

He was booked on numerous charges at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $8,500.
