Two of the armed robberies occurred in April 2017 and the third armed robbery was committed this past Father’s Day on Sunday, according to a media release by MCSO. Detectives were able to connect the robbery that occurred on April 7 at the Log Cabin Store located on 13493 West Highway 328, the robbery of the Speedy Food Mart located on 5501 NE 35th St. that occurred on April 27 and the third robbery case at the same Ocala Log Cabin Store that occurred on Sunday evening, the media release stated. In the first two robberies, three masked suspects who were similar in build, entered the establishments and completely took over the stores, while in Sunday’s robbery, only two suspects entered the store.
