A 66-year-old Village of Bridgeport at Lake Sumter man was transported by ambulance as a trauma alert after he overturned his motorcycle in a roundabout at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in The Villages.
The accident occurred at Tall Trees Lane and Buena Vista Boulevard after James Francis Walter lost control of his 2015 Harley Davidson Freewheeler, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Walter was transported by ambulance to Ocala Regional Medical Center. He had not been wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
