The mother of a Liberty Middle School student reported that her daughter was battered Thursday by a fellow student at an Ocala bus stop.
A Marion County sheriff’s deputy spoke with the mother about the incident that reportedly took place at the bus stop at Ocala Ridge.
The matter was referred to the school resource officer.
