A Michigan woman was arrested on drug charges after a bad parking job attracted the attention of a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy.
Christina Lynn Kirk, 45, of Inkster, Mich. was a passenger in a silver Chevrolet Equinox spotted at 2:11 a.m. Thursday in the middle of the parking lot at Motel 6 on State Road 44 in Wildwood. A K-9 alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs.
Kirk’s purse contained “numerous credit cards” in her name as well as amphetamine salt, acetaminophen, hydrocodone and two pipes for smoking marijuana.
She was taken into custody and while being booked at the Sumter County Detention Center, she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
She was booked on $4,000 bond.
