Mary Victoria Langton

Mary V. Langton, 68, of The Villages, FL, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018. Mrs. Langton was born March 25, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Christine (Ibelli) Como.

She Graduated from Brooklyn College receiving her Bachelors degree with Honors in Art and then earned her Masters degree in Library Science at Pratt Institute.

Mary retired as a Librarian and Church Organist and moved here in 2005 from Nashville, TN and is a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church. She loved china painting and was a member of the American Guild of Organist and the American Library Association.

Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, John; siblings, Joseph Como of Staten Island, NY, Angela Drozdoff of The Villages, FL and Long Island, NY and Leo Como of Naugatuck, CT.

Visitation will be 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 8:30 a.m., Friday, June 15, 2018 in St. Timothy Catholic Church, Lady Lake with interment following in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, FL.
