Marion County Sheriff asking for help in finding man connected with bank robbery

Suspect in robbery at Harbor Community Bank in Ocala.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a man who is wanted in connection with a robbery at Harbor Community Bank.

According to a sheriff’s office report, the man in the photo above walked into the bank, located at 8290 SW College Rd. in Ocala, on May 11 at noon. Sheriff’s officials say he robbed the bank and then got away.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity is being asked to call Det. Billy Burleson at (352) 368-3542. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at (352) 368-STOP (7867). Tips also can be submitted at www.ocalacrimestoppers.com.
