Marion County school bus driver ticketed after collision with another vehicle

A Marion County school bus driver was ticketed after a collision Friday morning with another vehicle.

Arthur Martin, 72, had been at the wheel of the school bus at 6:20 a.m. on State Road 40 when he made a left turn into the path of a Ford Focus driven by 62-year-old Joanne Marie Mis of Dunnellon, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Martin was ticketed on a charge of violation of right of way.

There were no injuries. No children were on the school bus at the time of the collision.
