Marion County sheriff’s deputies pulled over 43-year-old Jose Antonio Pacheco for traveling at 61 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone, according to an arrest report. During the traffic stop, Pacheco advised deputies that he should not be driving, but had to drive in order to pick up a friend who was to do the driving for him. He also admitted he was out on bond for a previous arrest for driving on a suspended driver’s license as a habitual violator.

A computer check of Pacheco’s driver’s license revealed it was suspended in October of 2017 for 60 months.

He was placed under arrest and transported to Marion County Jail. Bond was set at $2,000.
