Man with bogus Sam’s Club member ID card sought in statewide string of thefts

A man who used a fraudulent member identification card at Sam’s Club is being investigated as part of a statewide string of thefts.

A Sam’s Club investigator, working with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, informed Lady Lake police this past week that a March 10 incident at the store is being investigated.

Surveillance from the store showed a man who entered the store and stole six Bose speakers valued at $1,974.
