A man wanted on two outstanding warrants was arrested Wednesday morning at a Circle K in The Villages.
Lady Lake police were dispatched at about 10 am. to the Circle K at 3 La Grande Boulevard on the Historic Side of The Villages, where they found 35-year-old Christopher Brian Smith of Leesburg. He was wanted on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of possession of cannabis and driving while license suspended. He was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was later released after posting $5,000 bond.
His 1998 Ford Expedition was towed from the scene and impounded.
