A man was taken into custody on an arrest warrant on Easter Sunday at the Holiday Inn Express in The Villages.
Lady Lake police went to the hotel on Avenida Central at 3 p.m. that day and took 29-year-old Joseph Alli Makaiwi of Summerfield into custody on a Marion County warrant charging him with violating his probation on a charge of DUI impairment involving property damage.
He had been staying in Room 123.
He was booked at the Lake County Jail.
