Man who stole wallet from Colony Cottage changing room faces more legal trouble

A 41-year-old man sentenced last month in the theft of a Villager’s wallet in December 2015 from the men’s changing room at the swimming pool at Colony Cottage Recreation Center is facing new legal trouble. 

Brian Mark Krajewski pleaded no contest in December in connection with the Dec. 4, 2015 theft of a pair of shorts which contained a Villager’s wallet holding $100 cash, his Florida driver’s license, an Outback Steakhouse gift card, his Villages ID card, and three credit cards. Krajewski was sentenced to six months in jail and placed on probation for six months. His female accomplice was sentenced last year in the case. You can read about her sentence HERE

On Tuesday, Krajewski was transported to the Lake County Jail to face another charge in Lake County Court. He is charged with violating his probation on a charge of criminal mischief.
