Man with bogus Ohio license plate arrested for driving on suspended license

Russell Dean Levally

A man with a bogus Ohio license plate was arrested Thursday for driving on a suspended license.

Russell Dean Levally, 59, of Wildwood, had been driving a blue 2000 Ford E-350 van with an Ohio license plate on South Main Street in Wildwood.

A police officer who had issued Levally a citation last year for driving while license suspended, recognized Levally from the previous traffic stop. A check revealed the Ohio tag belonged to a white GMC.

Levally was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended and driving with a license plate not assigned to his vehicle. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $1,500.
