A 47-year-old man was arrested after a rollover accident early Thursday morning on Interstate 75 in Marion County.

Lance Ryan Miller of Keystone Heights had been at the wheel of a northbound cargo van near Mile Marker 345 shortly after midnight when the vehicle left the roadway and landed on its roof, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Marion County Fire Rescue had also responded to the scene of the accident.

Miller told an investigator he had consumed two beers about three hours prior to the accident. The investigator found multiple opened tall Budweiser beer cans in the vehicle.

Miller failed field sobriety exercises and provided breath samples that registered .090 and .088.

He was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence-property damage and booked at the Marion County Jail.
