Man arrested on DUI charge after found unresponsive at wheel of vehicle in store parking lot in Ocala

A man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after he was found unresponsive New Year’s Day behind the wheel of a car in a store parking lot in Ocala.

Brian T. Camacho, 39, of Hernando, was found sleeping behind the wheel of a blue Toyota shortly before 8 p.m. at Parrett’s Country Store on Gainesville Road. The keys were in the ignition and the vehicle was running. An open container of beer was in the center cupholder, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Marion County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and determined that Camacho did not require medical attention.

He failed field sobriety exercises. A breath sample registered .00 blood alcohol content. A urine sample was also collected.

He was booked at the Marion Count Jail on a charge of driving under the influence.
