Lois M. Chase

Lois M. Chase, nee LaScala, age 68, of Summerfield, FL, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 1, 2018.

Lois was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on March 10, 1949. She spent most of her life in Niagara Falls, retiring from a Sears Home Town Store in Tonawanda, New York, where she was the store manager. She moved to California in 2015, and then moved to Summerfield, Florida in 2016. Lois was a very loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

She is survived by her husband Roy A. Chase; seven children, Samuel (Cheryl) Conti, Niagara Falls; David (Rocio Babilonia) Conti, San Francisco, California; Robert (Magdalena Butz) Reynolds, Maricopa, Arizona; Brian (Kate Shovlin) Reynolds, West Pittston, Pennsylvania; William (Sarina Malloy) Buckborough, St.Thomas, Ontario, Canada; Angela (Marco) Fiorucci, Thorold, Ontario, Canada; and Philip (Christine) Chase, Niagara Falls. Lois is also survived by her mother Rosaria Cronwell, Niagara Falls; a brother Salvatore (Marjorie) LaScala, Niagara Falls and sisters Corinne (Salvatore) Costanzo, Summerfield Florida; Carla (Michael) Sicoli, Lewiston, New York; and Paula (James) Hilts, Youngstown, New York. She leaves behind 18 grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2018, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 1511 Buenos Ares Blvd., The Villages.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
