Lessons about golf cart seatbelts can be tragic

To the Editor:

I had a good friend who was riding in a golf cart without seat belts. When the cart jerked, she fell out, hit her head on the road, and was killed. That’s why we have seat belts and we tell everyone we know they should have them. I’ll risk being sued to keep my passengers safe.
