Lawrence ‘Larry’ Irwin Schneider

Lawrence “Larry” Irwin Schneider, age 71, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 in Leesburg, Florida. Larry was born and spent most of his life in Brooklyn, New York and moved to the Leesburg area in 2007. He was a retired wholesale and retail sales representative from the men’s garment industry. Larry was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in Vietnam. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie 4273 in Okahumpka, Florida. Larry will be remembered by those closest to him for the way he lived his life, he was always ready for an adventure. He loved to travel and his trips took him around the world, traveling and cruising throughout Europe, Australia and much of the United States. Many would describe him as a “Sport” always smiling, laughing and loving his life. He was always a gentleman and enjoyed being a generous tipper. The most important person in his life was his best friend and companion of 27 years Joanell Monaco.
