Laverne ‘Pete’ Heffron

Laverne “Pete” Heffron, 75, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 while under the care of hospice.

Pete was an OTR Trucker for over 40 years. He loved NASCAR racing and westerns. He particularly enjoyed John Wayne and Steven Seagal movies. Pete had a heart as big as Texas and was a great friend to everyone he met.

He is survived by his dear friend and OTR Judy Salmons; 4 children and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Ethel Heffron.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6 – 7 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at Page-Theus Funeral Home, 914 W. Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748.
