LaVerne L. Hutchinson

LaVerne L. Hutchinson, 91, of Fruitland Park, FL, previously of Leesburg, FL,  passed away peacefully on August 17, 2017. She was born September 4, 1925 in Wausaukee, WI and moved to Leesburg from Blairsville, GA in 2002.

Principally a homemaker, Mrs. Hutchinson enjoyed crocheting, gardening and camping but her greatest joy was found in her family. She was a woman of great faith and a loving and beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose legacy will live on through many generations.

She is survived by her sons: Fred (Sandy) Hutchinson of Blairsville, GA; Dale Hutchinson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Glen Hutchinson of Palm Coast, FL; daughters: Cindy (Walter) Lobinske of Fruitland Park, FL and Lisa (Steve) Patton of Missouri; as well as 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Frederick John Hutchinson in 2003 and her sister Beatrice Boucher earlier this year (2017).

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Kimer officiating. She will be inurned with her late husband privately at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

For those who wish and in lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to: American Lung Association or Cornerstone Hospice.
