Larry J. Shock

Larry J. Shock, 70, Lady Lake, Florida, passed away on January, 28, 2018 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Shock was born on July 17, 1947 in Anderson, Indiana to his parents Joseph Howard Shock and Anna May (Hodson) Shock.

He was a retired Manager in the Telecommunications Industry working for Outsource Inc. He and his late wife Marsha moved to Florida in 1979 from Anderson, Indiana. He was of the Christian faith and was a Proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed golf, softball, but loved to be surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren the most.

He is survived by his son: Jeffrey Shock and wife Darlene of Dothan, AL his daughters: Kimberly Geise and her fiancee’ Nathan Wright of Sylacauga, AL and Joy Brittian and husband Mike of Leesburg, FL; sisters: Barbara Shock of Phoenix, AZ and Cathy Elliott of Anderson, IN; six grandchildren; Jeffrey, Kaitlyn, Emalee, Austin, Jason and Joey; two great-grandchildren Chase and Aleeah and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Wounded Warriors Project at P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
