Lakeside Landings man arrested after drinking vodka and pineapple at City Fire

Christopher Noe

A Lakeside Landings man was arrested after drinking vodka and pineapple at City Fire at Lake Sumter Landing.

Christopher Lee Noe, 46, was pulled over shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday on Buena Vista Boulevard at the entrance to the Village of Bridgeport at Lake Sumter due to his Scion XB not having an operable taglight, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Noe lit a cigarette immediately after the traffic stop and it appeared he might be intoxicated. He admitted he had been drinking “a couple vodka and pineapple juice drinks” at City Fire.

He failed field sobriety exercises and provided breath samples that registered .182 and .174 blood alcohol content.

He was taken into custody on a charge of driving under the influence and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $500 bond.
