Lady Lake woman jailed after alleged attack on live-in boyfriend

Zabrina Tidball

A Lady Lake woman was jailed after an alleged attack on her live-in boyfriend witnessed by her two children.

Lady Lake police were called on Sunday to a home in the 900 block of April Hills Boulevard. Law enforcement had received two calls, one from a neighbor and the other from a child at the home where the attack occurred.

Zabrina Tidball, 38, had been “drinking heavily” when she and her boyfriend began to argue about “family issues,” according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The boyfriend went outside to smoke a cigarette and drink a beer. Tidball reportedly chased him outside, began to hit him and shoved him down. The attack was witnessed by two of Tidball’s three children, the report said.

She was arrested on a charge of domestic battery and also was charged with resisting arrest.

She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $500 bond.
